1. Assessment
We gain an in-depth understanding of your organization and clarify your immediate needs and long-term vision. Our assessment process includes:
- Meeting with your management team to learn about your culture, your competition and current initiatives.
- Creating a profile of the ideal candidate — the skills, experience and outlook he or she needs for a successful long-term relationship.
- Developing a profile of your organization to provide to candidates.
2. Research
Guided by the goals set in Step 1, we implement our search through:
- Nationwide networking
- Research and sourcing
- Targeted advertising
3. Recruiting
Now we are actively talking with qualified candidates. We will:
- Compare your organizational culture and goals to the candidate’s skills, experience and outlook.
- Utilizing behavioral interviewing techniques, evaluate the candidate’s ability to meet the specific and measurable competencies required of the position.
- Develop written summary profiles following candidate interviews.
- Verify academic and work history of the candidate.
- Conduct reference checks through interviews with contacts such as managers, peers and direct reports.
- Manage the interview process, including supporting the search committee process if needed.
4. Results
In this closing phase, Koppen will:
- Provide counsel for you in negotiating the final offer.
- Notify all the interviewed candidates of the outcome.
5. Evaluation
Satisfaction for all parties is important to Koppen. In this step we:
- Follow up with new hire at one, three and 12 months.
- Provide you with a final report.
